Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada (AAFC) is dedicated to serving the public and helps farmers and industry feed our country. We are also working to grow Canada's exports, while providing leadership in the growth and development of a competitive, innovative and sustainable Canadian agriculture and agri-food sector. The activities of the Department range from the farmer to the consumer, from the farm to global markets, through all phases of producing, processing and marketing of farm, food and bio-based products.
AAFC has an outstanding science community. Through our Open Science initiatives, we aim to increase the accessibility of science and help accelerate the pace of new discoveries and innovations within the scientific community.
AAFC contributions to the Federal Open Science Repository of Canada include open access scientific publications related to the agriculture and agri-food sector, with the goal of enhancing collaboration and sharing relevant scientific findings with all Canadians.
