Abstract

In this paper, a numerical model is described which solves the unsteady flow equations for a mobile boundary channel. This model is capable of predicting the flood-wave characteristics as well as the environmental impacts of man's activities in river basins. The model was verified under laboratory conditions and a reasonalby [sic] good agreement between the model predictions and laboratory measurements was observed.
