Plain language summary
Ageism is very present in our society and for many elderly people, it constitutes an additional barrier to the practice of physical activities. The negative impact it has on this lifestyle manifests itself through different mechanisms. This summary document presents examples of ageist stereotypes and offers some ideas for behaving differently.
