Abstract
The City of Calgary was one of the 15 organizations awarded a research contract through the ACATS program to advance connectivity and automation in the transportation system. This final report details how the 16 Avenue North “vehicle-to-infrastructure” (V2I) Test Bed project successfully established a connected corridor of 14 intersections to test V2I technology. Additionally, the project included the integration of a Security Credential Management System (SCMS) and testing of four “vehicle-to-everything” (V2X) communication applications: V2X Insight, V2X Assist, signal pre-emption/priority and eWalk.
